column headings with data starting in row 1
Is there a way to have headings on the columns and start the
data entry at Row 1?, instead of Row 2? |

You can show A, B, C, ... or 1, 2, 3, ... or nothing at all for the column
headings. But you can't change them. I just put my own headers in row 1 and then I select A2 and hit Window|Freeze panes (xl2003 menus). This way, my headers in row 1 will always be visible when I scroll down.
