Default Right arrow key MISBEHAVING in EXCEL

When I use Right arrow key, the active cell is moves diagonally up one cell
and to the right one cell....stepping up the rows.

I need help to correct this maddening behavior!

Thanks in advance!

Default Right arrow key MISBEHAVING in EXCEL

I had a keyboard that sometimes would not type question marks until the PC
was rebooted.
I gave the keyboard the boot.
Try another keyboard and tell us what happens
Anyone remember the lovely Gateway keyboard with diagonal arrows for
spreadsheet work?
best wishes
