links and merges
 

I have four workbooks (identical except for hidden cols/sheets) which are
merged into one additional w/book via a macro. this last workbook has links
to a summary workbook. Problem:users of the four shared workbooks have used
cut and paste instead of copy and paste to move figures down which has
altered the links (rather than say a1, they refer to a2). I need a quick way
of changing the links so they are fixed and not affected by the users actions
in future (eg if a user cuts and pastes a cell a1 down 1, [following the
merge] the link will remain a1-a1 rather than a2-a1.
