Extend formula hotkeys?
I have data in column A for example going down 5000 rows. I have a formula in
B1. I would like to use a macro or some keystrokes to extend the formula down to the last row where these is data in the adjacent column (in this case row 5000). I tried SHIFT + END + Down Arrow but that goes all the way to the lats row of the sheet. Can anyone help? Thanks, Joe M. |

Hi Joe,
Double-click on the fill handle of B1. That is the little square in the bottom right corner. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Joe M." wrote in message ... |I have data in column A for example going down 5000 rows. I did that, nothing happened. I'm using Excel 2003.

Hi Joe,
That should work, if all the rows contain data. Another, slightly less convenient way: Select A1. CTRL+downkey. Go one column to the right. SHIFT+CTRL+upkey. CTRL+D. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Joe M." wrote in message ... |I did that, nothing happened. Under ToolsOptionsEdit do you have "Allow cell drag and drop" checked?
