I had Office 2007 and i unistalled them because i needed VBA using Excel
2003.(I have installed Office 2003)The problem is that everytime i press the
button on the Excel toolbar for opening an new workbook ,Excel crashes and
stops working.I have Vista Home Premium.

I would first try to re-register Excel for the 2003 version.

Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar

1) StartRun "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)OK.
2) StartRun "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)OK.

See the space between exe and /regserver

You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe.

In that case StartRun "C:\yourpath to office11\excel.exe" /regserver(quotes
required)OK.
