refering to other workbooks
The easiest way is to have both workbooks open. In the destination cell, type
the equal sign, then use the mouse to click to the other workbook and click the source cell. "cjbarron5" wrote: I cant seem to get the referance to another workbook sheet right can anyone help me out............im trying to make a cell = the text in another cell in a diffrent workbook thanks |

Click in your destination cell, type an equals sign, then click on your
source sheet, then on the source cell in that sheet, and that should put the reference for that sheet and cell after the equals sign. Accept the formula. -- David Biddulph "cjbarron5" wrote in message ...
