Open Excel 2002 Attachment from Outlook 2002
 

Hi,

When I try to open excel attachments from outlook this process goes through
ok as long as I do not open a particular excel file before doing so. The
excel file in question is one which gives the user the option to
enable/disable automatic refresh upon opening (external data imported from a
notepad file). If the user disables automatic refresh they are able to open
excel attachments from outlook, however if they enable automatic refresh,
they are not able to open excel attachments (there is no error message).

Has anyone ever encounted this problem? Incidentally, the same user is able
to do so on other computers.
