Delete mass rows from excel
Does anyone know of a way to mass delete rows from an excel spreadsheet?
I've got 5,000 rows I need to delete and don't want to have to click and drag. Is there a way to mass select? -- Cricket1107 |

Assuming for this example that the rows you want to select (for deletion or
any other operation) are Row 1 through Row 5000. Click into the Name Box (the field located to the left of the formula bar) and type 1:5000 and the press enter. Rick "tnr1995" wrote in message ... Select row 1. Grab the scroll bar and scroll down to row 5000. Holding down
the shift key select row 5000. All the rows from 1:5000 inclusive will now be selected and ready for you to delete... -- HTH...
