Find Fast Vs. Find Not-so-fast
I have a spreadsheet that has about 11000 rows of data. Previously, I would
hit Ctrl-F (Find) and type something in and it would immediately tell me nothing was found or put me on the first found cell. But now, in the upper left-hand corner, I see it processing rows and columns searching and then it finally "lights" on a match and stops. It is MUCH slower. Any ideas why the change and is it possible to get it back to the way it was previously? |

Have you tried both ways to see if one works faster for your sheet? |

The Row/Column did not make any difference, but the Look In (Formulas,
Values, Comments) sure did. I changed it from Values to Formulas and it finds my string INSTANTLY. The text I am searching for is not a formula but it sure finds it faster.
