Web Query fails with "you need to upgrade flash" message
Hi,
When I try to do a web query data connection into excel (which I do normally with other web pages) to a page with flash I get the following behavior: -- the dialog box that shows me the web page for formatting into excel works fine. that is I can see the page in the dialog box with all it's formatting, data etc -- however once I import it loses a large portion of itself and instead has the message in the sheet (i.e. as if the remote page sent the text) "you need to upgrade your flash player" (or words to that effect)). I have of course done this and confirmed I am on latest flash. Does not help. Please help in resolving this. A colleague of mine had same experience on his excel too.. though he claims he saw it come in once. He is in a different network environment. I am running XP professional with Office 2007. |

I can reproduce the same phenomenon if I open the web page from Word as well
