Can I automatically change all positve numbers to negative number.
I have excel documents and would like to change all positive numbers to
negative numbers or vise versa. Is this possible? |
Can I automatically change all positve numbers to negative number.
One way, type -1 in an unused cell, copy it, select the range to change and
right-click-Paste Special and choose multiply, this will multiply everything by -1 thus converting your signs. -- -John Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful. Just multiply each cell by -1. A quick way to do this is to enter -1
into a blank cell somewhere and to <copy that cell. Then highlight all the cells whose values you want to change and click on Edit | Paste Specal | Values (check) | Multiply (check) | OK then <Esc. Then you can delete the -1 from the first cell. Hope this helps.
