I am trying to set up a summery page on a excel project I've been
working on. Basically the way I have the project formatted is that if something goes under 30% the cell turns yellow as an indicator, and if it goes under 10% it turns red, as a serious indicator. I want to try and make a summery sheet that will automatically update all the red (serious indicator) cells to appear on the summery sheet as they become red. This will hopefully mean that whoever is using the page will not have to go looking for red cells, but just look on 1 summery sheet where they will be all detailed. I don't know if this is even possible, but any ideas or suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks, Niall. |

There must be some condition that triggers the red cells, so just create a
formula on the summary sheet that checks that same condition and outputs the result if true. -- --- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Niall 84" wrote in message ... Thanks for your reply,
There is a condition, and I can do it that way using the if statements, But Ideally I'm looking for it without a full list. I.E. I have about 200 things listed, if I am to use the if statements I'll need to have a further 200 cells with the statements in them..............as far as I know anyway, maybe there is a way of compressing them..... But if its possible I'm looking for the red cells to update with single cells at the top rather than all cells needed to be listed again. I hope that makes sense. Niall. |
