Sorting huge worksheet
I have problems sorting a sheet with 2o ooo rows and 25 columns.
Whether I try with or without header it ignores the data. I can do it with approx. 2 ooo rows without problems Any reason and ideas? Thx Felix |

Try selecting the entire range before you do the Data Sort
Eg: if source table is within A1:Y20000, 1. Type the range into the namebox*, viz. type: A1:Y20000 2. Press Enter to select the range *box with the dropdown just to the left of the formula bar, above "A" 3. With the range selected, proceed with the Data Sort P/s: An obs on your posting - you use (wrongly) lowercase letter O instead of zeros in eg your "2o ooo rows". -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "Felix" wrote: I have problems sorting a sheet with 2o ooo rows and 25 columns.
