Using the Excell found in Office 2007 I cannot find a way to search unopened
files on my computer for a specific text string such as a street address, to see if it shows up in any of my other files. This was done easily in the Excell found in Office XP. You pulled down the file menu and chose "search" a seperate search task pane popped up where you could input the text and select where to look on your computer as well as tell it what type of files to look in and it would populate a list of files that contain some or all of your text. Is this feature available in Office 2007? if so I cannot seem to find it! This feature is my main reason for using Excell over other office suites, can someone help me on this. Thanks |
