Selected cells do not show animated border
As far as I know flashing dashes appear around selected cells only after
copying them, e.g. with Ctrl+C. Regards, Stefi €žnadchris€ť ezt Ă*rta: When selecting non adjacent cells with CTRL button and cursor the cells are not being highlighted with flashing dashes like they used to. where can I look to turn this feature back on? |

thanks for the prompt response Stefi - I'm not sure how the cells are
highlighted (I usually see it at work and the problem is at home) but they are definately highlighted in some way. At the moment after I select say five cells via the CTRL click method the only cell that is highlighted in any way is the last cell which of course doesn't allow me to see if I have selected the correct cells. Hi
The cells selected usually have a slight background coloration, apart from the last cell selected. Maybe you have invoked the High Contrast setting on your home computer. Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen usually toggles between the two modes. -- Regards Roger Govier "nadchris" wrote in message ... thanks for the prompt response Stefi - I'm not sure how the cells are highlighted (I usually see it at work and the problem is at home) but they are definately highlighted in some way. Hi,
I can't see any background coloration - had it up to 220% zoom and I don't have the High Contrast setting on either. It shows easily on the work computer so i guess it might be a computer settings problem rather than excel. The Shift & click doesn't give me non adjacent cells. |
