Pivot table Row heading appearing in duplicate in Excel 2003
Hi,
I'm using Microsoft Excel 2003 and I have a large table which I've used as a source to extract a pivot table report. Why am I getting a duplicate in row headings on 2 rows with half the sum values of the heading (part a) in one part and another portion of the values under the duplicate heading. Although the total of both these duplicate headings is accurate, but why didnt I just get that value under one heading? E.g. I'm getting Row Headings and Values as follows: Project A - 100 hrs Proj B - 36 hrs Proj B - 60 hrs Although the total hrs from Prj B is 96 hours, why dont I just get that in one place? Thanks Sean |

In the source data, some of the Proj B headings may have a space
character at the end, so they look the same on the worksheet, but don't combine under one heading.
