Saving as CSV File
I am attempting to save a worksheet as a CSV or TXT file to import into
another program. When I attempt to save as the nly file options presented are xls or all file types. I save the file with a csv extension. When I attempt to import the file it is not recognized as a CSV. Save thing when I save as txt. Am I missing something. Using Excel 2003 SP#. Note we are also integrated with Hummingbird DM5 (OPEN TEXT) |

There's quite a long list of filters available on the install CD, and MS correctly assumes that many users won't need them all. |

Try open your file with notepad. If you see comma in between fields, it is csv.
