User is hurried and busy, often closes entire EXCEL application, closing
*all* workbooks unintentially losing work in workbooks he didn't want to close. My suggestion to him was that we could create a wave file in his own voice that say's "Don't do that" every time he hits the red X for the appication (he suggested "Stop! You idiot!" for himself, lol) The idea was that since the visual warning that pops up wasn't enough, an auditory cue might get his attention. 1. I'm not sure if I can associate an audio wave file with the action of closing EXCEL application - it must be possible though?!? 2 Is there another better way to put a stop gap or safe guard on this action so that he doesn't lose more work? Any and all suggestions, and comments welcome. Thanks |
