Default Autofilter HELP

The autofilter command is grey'ed out. It's not protected, not grouped, and
no frozen pane...

Are objects hidden?
To unhide then, choose ToolsOptions
On the View tab, under Objects, select Show All, or Show Placeholders.
Click OK

checked (grouping, etc.). That makes it easier to help find a solution.
