Typing an "E" within numbers changes cell
Hey everyone,
When I type an "E" within a cell that contains numbers, it changes the formatting of it to scientific notation. For example, when I type "541e08", it changes to "5.41E+10". Is there a way to prevent this from happening WITHOUT having to type an apostrophe before the entry? Thanks everyone. AccessJoe |

Preformat the cell as text, then make your change.

Format the cell as text before you put anything in it.
