Changing The Day
Assume that I have the following information:
Date 03/01/08 03/02/08 03/03/08 03/04/08 03/05/08 and so on... If I were to use the Date in a column for a pivot table I would get five separte columns. What I would like to get just one column that would read March 2008. Is there a way to format the information in the Date column so that it would be read as March 2008 for a pivot table or is there a formula that I can use that would do the same thing? Thanks |
Changing The Day
Just build the pivot table as normal, then when you have setup the fields,
right-click a date in the pivot and select Group and Show DetailGroup...Months. -- --- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Mike" wrote in message ...
