Did you try sorting the manual way? Doesn't Excel 2007 have a "Sort
Ascending" button like 2003 does?

I don't use 2007 but it should have a Macro Recorder feature same as earlier
versions.

Display the Developer tab go to Office Button Excel Options...Popular

On that Tab you can find the Record macro option and also the
option to start/stop recording a macro on the bottom left of the Excel screen.

Gord, you are in for a "treat," and I use that term sarcastically. Office
2007 does not have "Tools/Options, " etc. Toolbars as we know them are
gone--now there are "tabs" and "ribbons." MS has dumbed it down so that
users will use the mouse far more than previously. We just converted to
2007, and I am spending hours trying to figure out where to access features
that I knew backwards and forwards in 2003. Without this online community,
I'd croak! However, even with all the excellent responses received regarding
how to stop recording a macro, when I do exactly what is recommended, I still
have zero success in getting the macro to STOP recording. So, more hours
figuring it out--resulting in slowdown of major projects. Sorry, but I'm
really feeling a steep learning curve with this new version...
