Excel 2003 -- position locked--anchored to a cell??

Hi yall,

I've Excel 2003...and my cell is locked to D4. If I click anywhere else...I
don't get that cell, but it is a cell range...and it is ANCHORED to cell
D4..no matter where I click on the sheet.

How do I remove this "ANCHOR?"
