hidden columns disappear after I unprotect worksheet
Please help. I hid a couple of columns, protected my workbook, and then went
back to make changes later. I unprotected the workbook so I could make changes, but my hidden columns wouldn't unhide. They have disappeared into the void. Why and how do I fix it? |
hidden columns disappear after I unprotect worksheet
Hello there.
Try to select all the column headers or better yet, select the "select all button" by looking for the square that sits above the row numbers and to the left of the column headers, then with either all the rows or the select all button selected (highlighted) right click on the header rows (or columns ) and then choose the "Unhide" option. Hope that helps! -Imonit On May 7, 12:02*pm, rafter wrote: Please help. I hid a couple of columns, protected my workbook, and then went back to make changes later. Protecting the workBOOK does not affect hiding and unhidng columns.
Protecting the workSHEETt will affect hiding and unhiding columns. Perhaps you still have sheet protection enabled?
