Why is most of the sheet grey and inaccessible?
I have an Excel book made by others, where the surroundings of each sheet is
grey and inaccessible. There is nothing wrong with it, on the contrary it is quite nice. But what has been done to achieve this appearance? |
Why is most of the sheet grey and inaccessible?
Unused rows and columns hidden?

Yes, you are on to it. I was able to show many of the columns now, but how
do I release all rows and columns? (And how do I hide them?) I feel there must be a simpler way.. Knut "David Biddulph" <groups [at] biddulph.org.uk skrev i melding ... Click on the intersection between the row and column identifiers in
order to highlight the complete sheet. Then you can click on Format | Columns then Unhide | OK and then click on Format | Rows | Unhide | OK. Hope this helps. Columns could be revealed all the way to IV. But I can still not reveal the
rows beneath those used. I want to add something below, but it is impossible to go beneath row 62 (all is grey and inaccessible) Knut "Pete_UK" skrev i melding ... I can add rows, of course, so I can achieve what I want, but it seems
impossible to have the sheet look "normal" with white, open squares all over. "Knut" skrev i melding ... Columns could be revealed all the way to IV. The person who created the file might have set those rows below 62
with zero height - you can change this by highlighting the rows as before, then using Format | Rows | Autofit (or Height, and specify 15).
