SUBTOTAL 2 WORKSHEETS
I have 2 worksheets that are grouped. The first sheet contains information on
65,536 rows. Then, the information continues onto the second worksheet. I want to be able to subtotal column E from both sheets. Is there a formula to do this? I can fit this subtotal on sheet 2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Try a formula similar to:
=SUBTOTAL(9,'Sheet (1)'!E1:E65536)+SUBTOTAL(9,'Sheet (2)'!E1:E65536) Good Luck. "Churley" wrote: I have 2 worksheets that are grouped. The first sheet contains information on 65,536 rows. Thanks.
This unfortunately did not work. Excel crashes every time I try to use this formula. I appreciate the help anyway. I will keep trying. Perhaps your sheets are not named: Sheet(1) and Sheet(2) ... substitute your
sheet names and it should work. "Churley" wrote: Thanks. This unfortunately did not work. Excel crashes every time I try to use this formula. I appreciate the help anyway. I will keep trying. ND Pard,
I tried the formula again, and it worked this time! I had to ungroup the sheets and remove the apostrophes around the sheets names. Thanks so much for all your help!! I don't know why it doesn't work; it's a simple formula.
