I want to print both horizontal and vertical lines on my worksheet without
any data in the cells. I will pencil in data later. What ever I do does not
work. Anyone have any suggestions.

I imagine Excel keeps telling you there is no print range set.

Select a cell at bottom right corner of the range you wish to print.

Enter a <space in this cell.

Now do your print setup and Excel will cooperate.

Make sure you have Gridlines set to print.
