when i try the entire worksheet changes to that cell width how do i change
only a part of my worksheet to creat what i want

Don Guillett

No can do but you can merge cells to make wider or merge other cells to make
them wider.

Width is a property of the column and cannot be changed within that column.

Workarounds.....

1. Select A18:B42 and FormatCellsAlignmentHorizontalCenter Across
Selection.

2. Use a text box to hold your data.

3. Merge A18 and B18 then copy that formatting down to row 42.

NOTE: merging cells can cause no end of problems with sorting, filtering,
copying, pasting and other functions I can't think of right now.
