Filter by Format
I have colored certain cells in a given column.
I am trying to filter by color for that column, so that once filtered, only rows displaying cells with the given color in the specified column are visible. Once filtered I hope to perform calculations on numerical data in associated columns. Would appreciate advice on solving this, as I cannot find the right place to look in Help. Thank you. petess |

If the coloring was not added by conditional formatting...
In xl2007, you could use autofilter. It's a new feature! In earlier versions, look at Ron de Bruin's site: http://www.rondebruin.nl/easyfilter.htm petess wrote: I have colored certain cells in a given column.
