I am trying to do a mail merge from my Excel database and a Word doc.
Thezip code is giving me problems. Any Zip Codes beginning with 0 do do not merge correctly. I have tried everything. I have tried as text as numbers as special with zip and still no luck. PLEASE HELP I have a mailing that has to get done. |

You can either use the field formatting options within Word, or in Excel you
can use the TEXT function to format the number appropriately. -- David Biddulph wrote in message ... I am trying to do a mail merge from my Excel database and a Word doc. There's an article on the Microsoft web site that might help you: Answer Box: Numbers don't merge right in Word http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/as...164951033.aspx And if you prefer the old Mail Merge helper, Word MVP Suzanne Barnhill has instructions he http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/C...ngWord2002.htm about half way down the page. wrote: I am trying to do a mail merge from my Excel database and a Word doc.
