Use autocomplete function with keyboard instead of double-clicking
When excel shows the list of available functions for the entered letters, for
example i've typed =su and i want to use the Sum function. I've highlighted Sum with the down arrow key. Now i want to hit enter or space or something like that to use this function, but the only way to select the function seems to be double clicking with the mouse. I find this annoying since i constantly have to move my right hand from the keyboard to the mouse and back. Is there a way to select the formula with the keyboard? |
Use autocomplete function with keyboard instead of double-clicking
the TAB key is what you are looking for.
I had to retrain my fingers to do this since other autocomplete tools I use (eg VB editor and ExpressionWeb) use Enter "ChrisB" wrote: When excel shows the list of available functions for the entered letters, for example i've typed =su and i want to use the Sum function.
