Download problems from SAP to Excel 2007

Most of our new PC's have Excel 2007 already installed on them.
A download from SAP R/3 creates a blank screen when downloaded to Excel 2007.
Excel 2003 worked fine with downloads from SAP R/3.
I was given an SAP GUI patch level 71 that was supposed
to fix this problem.
It did not work (still a blank Excel 2007 screen).
I was just wondering if anyone out there had any possible
solutions to this problem.
I am thinking it may be on the Excel 2007 side now.
I thought it might have been the security settings in Excel 2007, but that
does not seem to be the answer.
Thank you everyone. This one is driving me crazy.
I see a lot of people have this problem (from a Google search), but I have
not seen any solutions.
Regards,

Download problems from SAP to Excel 2007

Hi Ravi,
We did solve the problem with SAP GUI 7.1. It took a while because Europe
did not use Excel 2007 until over 1 year later than the US. I work for a
German company, so they were not able to help until they had the same problem.
If you upgade to SAP GUI 7.1 this will some your problem with Excel 2007 and
IE 7.
The help screen on SAP (F1 Key) does not worjk unless you have SAP GUI 7.1
as well.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Dave
