Try saving the workbook as an HTML file.
You'll see a folder under the folder that holds the HTML file that contains all the pictures in that workbook. mottod wrote: I have an image in a book in excel. I could save it as a DIF file and tried to open it in JASC but no luck. |

If you have PowerPoint, then right-click the picture in Excel and paste it
into a blank PowerPoint slide. You can then save the slide as jpeg. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200779 "mottod" wrote: I have an image in a book in excel. I want to paste it into JASC paint shop so that i can have a .jpeg file. I am unable to get the file into JASC paint shop. that is my question. |

Or maybe just rightclick on the picture, copy and paste directly into JASC?

You might have to copy it as a pictu Select the picture, hold Shift while
clicking on the Edit menu. Copy turns to Copy Picture, choose the Bitmap option, than paste into the image editor. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ... The whole sheet? All 64k rows and 256 columns in xl2003???
Maybe you could use something like SnagIt from Techsmith.com to grab a portion of the worksheet. Or a free program like FastStone: http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=775 Or roll your own based on Harald Staff's code at David McRitchie's site: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/xl2gif.htm S N wrote: Is there any way/software to export any excel sheet directly to jpg/bmp image.
