all my shortcuts to excel files open up as a picture
 

Was playing around trying to insert a picture into a picture in excel, was
able to do it, but now all my excel files open up with a small picture file
in the center of the screen. Am still able to retrieve my date file by
opening up recent documents. How did this happen?
Using Excel 2007
Also was unable to use the picture I created because of the file format, not
a jpg
