TYPING into TEXT BOXES

I have auserform with text boxes. when I try to type small negative numbers
such as -.001 it doesn not allow me. Soon as i type the zero it replaces my
negative and period signs. However I am able to type -.5 but soon as I put a
zero to the right of the decimal place it writes over them. any idea?
