scrolling inside a cell
I am sure this is not possible, but thought I would check. I am using Excel
03. I have a request to have a scroll option insite a single cell. The cell is actually about 6 cells merged together, but they want to type more than the cell can hold. Is there anyway to see everything in the cell without increasing the size of the cell, or without using the function bar to read it. |

Not using a cell.
But maybe you could put a textbox from the Control toolbox toolbar over that giant merged cell??? Josh C wrote: I am sure this is not possible, but thought I would check. I am using Excel 03. One possibility would be using listbox from control toolbox in your worksheet
although you can't directly type into a listbox. -- Best regards, Edward "Josh C" wrote: I am sure this is not possible, but thought I would check. I am using Excel 03. I can't seem to type in a text box either, I do need the user to be able to
type in the boxes. I am setting it up to be used as a tool for others to track information. Did you use the textbox from the control toolbox toolbar?
Did you remember to exit design mode after you inserted the textbox? If that doesn't help, what did you do?
