Insert a picture - Excel 2007
 
The new version of excel is way different than the previous version. I want
to insert a picture on a blank worksheet however, in the Insert tab, the
icons shown under "Illustations" are greyed out and I can't selected the
"Picture" icon that will allow me to do this very basic operation.

What am I missing here? Is my version of Excel missing an add-in???

The Insert Illustrations options will be disabled (a) if the worksheet is
one of Grouped worksheets (right-click a sheet tab) or (b) if the worksheet
is protected (Review | Changes) or ...

It seems they were protected. I simply copied all worksheets to a new
workbook and now I can insert a pic.
