Need Help with EXCEL Break Schedule
Hey there. I need help with creating a break schedule for my
employees. I need to figure out a way to enter their start time and end time and have the spreadsheet create a break schedule for each department so that their breaks do not overlap. The rules are as follows: 1. Employees who work more than 7.99 hours get 1 15 min break, 1 30 min break and 1 15 min break 2. Employees who work more than 5.99 hours get 1 15 min break and 1 30 min break. 3. All employees working 3 hours or more get 1 15 min break. 4. Shifts can start anytime after 7am and end at 9pm 5. We have about 7 different areas and each one has about 4-6 employees. No two employees in any one area may go to break at the same time. I have figured out how to get an excel spreadsheet to create break schedules, but when two people start at the same time, it causes them to have breaks at the same time or in some cases, people who come in later end up with their 15 min breaks during other's 30 min breaks. Any help would be really appreciated!!!!!!!! jb |
