Office 2007 Analysis toolpak won't appear in ribbon
Hey everyone,
I have just bought an office 2007 but so far i am unable to see the analysis toolpak in the ribbon (Excel). The tookpak is installed and active but it just doesn"t appear. It is very strange. I ve seen a couple of posts online but i didn t find any clear answer. I have to say that i decided to keep my version of excel 2003 while i get use to it (apparently it might come from this) thank you |

You didn't say where you looked, so, just to be sure you know where to look, when the Analysis ToolPak is installed in Excel 2007, it appears on the far right of the Data ribbon in the Analysis group. - Mike Middleton http://www.DecisionToolworks.com Decision Analysis Add-ins for Excel wrote in message ... No requirement for the add-in. If you look at the functions, you will see the ATP functions listed there. --ron I know the pack is supposed to be installed in the Data ribbon on the far right but it just doesn't appear even though everything is installed properly |

OK, I see you want to use the wizards. The functions within the ATP (AnalysisToolPak) are part of native Excel, but the wizards require the installation of the ATP. Check the following to be sure the ATP is properly installed. Press the Office button in the upper left hand corner of the Excel window. Select Excel Options down at the bottom of the window that opens, just next to "Exit Excel" From the Left hand menu, select Add-Ins You will see a screen with two sections; the top section is the list of "Active Application Add-ins"; the bottom section is the list of "Inactive Application Add-ins". In which list does "AnalysisToolPak" appear? --ron Hey sorry i got so focused on my assignments that i forgot about this post. The analysis toolpak appears in the active application add-ins. I ve tried using the go button under to activate and desactivate it but it still won't show up in the ribbon |
