Import Text File - missing
I have a telecommunications program that runs and saves a .txt file to my
hard drive. Before I got Vista and Office 07 (the two were installed together) I could import this file into Excel. Now the file shows up when viewing the file through Explorer, but does not show up under the import wizard in Excel - although other past .txt files do. This could be a Vista thing, but I thought I would check with the number #1 gurus first :) Thanks for any help. -- Janette |
Import Text File - missing
I have Excel 2007 but not Vista. Fwiw, when I do a File, Open and change the
file type to "Text Files (*.prn; *.txt; *.csv)" files with those extensions do appear in the dialog. -- Jim "Janette" wrote in message ... |I have a telecommunications program that runs and saves a .txt file to my | hard drive.
