bmp to excel

I was sent some data information and it is on a bmp file - it looks like an
excel spreadsheet. Is there anyway to import this information into excel, I
cannot select and copy?

bmp to excel

you need OCR software to do that, the bmp is just a picture of the data, not
the data itself.
