Issue with 'Fill Series' feature

I use Excel 2007. My 'fill series' features is not functioning as expected.

- I formatted column A as Time
- entered 3:30pm (in cell A1) and 4:30pm (cell A2)
- after selecting both the cells and dragged
- the cells are filled with same values, however I want 5:00pm (cell A3) and
5:30pm (cell A4)
- the check box under MS Office Button/Excel Options/Advanced/Editing
Options/Enable AutoComplet is checked
- but if I enter 1 and 2 and dragg them, the correct series is placed in
other cells

Can somebody please help?

Many thanks.

Issue with 'Fill Series' feature

It works ok for me.

- entered 3:30pm (in cell A1) and 4:30pm (cell A2)

Those are not true Excel time values. A true Excel time value has a space
before the AM/PM. Try entering them like this:

3:30 PM
4:30 PM
