Charting in Excel
Hello I was following a tutorial that demonstrated how to create dynamic
charts in excel. I came to this step and was confused as to hwo I create a chart with a formula. Can someone please help me out with this? Create a chart with the formula: =SERIES('One column'!WhichYear,'One column'!XValues,'One column'!YValues,1) Thanks, Stan |
Charting in Excel
Presumably you have ranges defined on the worksheet 'One Column' that have
the names WhichYear, XValues, and YValues. Create a chart with non-dynamic ranges, so the series formula looks something like: =SERIES('One column'!$B$1,'One column'!$A$2:$A$11,'One column'!$B$2:$B$11,1) then edit this formula to match the one you've posted. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "stan" wrote in message ...
