how do I get tabs to show in 2 or more rows?
Excel 2007
As many of my workbooks contain multiple tabs (worksheets) I have often wondered if it is possible to have these tabs 'stack'. For instance, rather than scroll left right to find one of 16 tabs it would be great to have 2 rows of 8 or 4 rows of 4. Is this possible? Thank you. |

Thank you Dave ... although not the answer I was hoping for. I was hoping
that Microsoft would have figured that one out by now. Silly me. "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ... There are other ways to display the sheet names.
You could rightclick on the VCR/DVD like controls to the left of the horizontal scroll bar and see them. Or you could use an addin from Debra Dalgleish's site: http://contextures.com/xlToolbar01.html Drew wrote: Thank you Dave ... although not the answer I was hoping for. If you name your tabs with just a couple of characters you should be able to display quite a few in one row. I realize that's not the question you asked... Bill |
