How do i change the default color for selected cells in excel?

i have recently changed to Office 2007. Now when I select cells, specifically
rows that I want to delete, I click on the row number but the color of the
cells doesn't change significantly. It is difficult to see if the cell is
actually highlighted. Does anyone know how to change the default color?

This is a problem with 2007 that has not been resolved AFAIK.

Try Chip Pearson's customizable RowLiner add-in for more positve viewing of
selected cell.

I will give it a try. it figures that MS would change Excel so much and then
leave out basic features. I do not like the new look of the Office products.
Some of the enhancements are nice but I prefer the way it looked before. I
mus tbe getting old.

I know what you mean.

At 65+ myself, I do not feel inclined to take on 2007.

But, I probably will<g
