Excel Number Format

Is there a quick way to format numbers copied from a website into Excel.

I find that the numbers copied into Excel do not allow any operations to be
performed.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You're copying numbers as text. Copy a blank cell. Select your "numbers"
and choose Edit/Paste Special, selecting the values and add radio
buttons. Format as normal.
