Columns change from letters to numbers
 

I have been using excel 2003 for some months now & when i open saved files or
a new workbook my columns have changed from letters to numbers.
Why would this happen & how can i change it back.

Unckeck the R1C1 reference style

Uncheck 'R1C1 reference style'
