why does blank space appear at end of number?
Sometimes a blank space appears at the end of a number in a cell.
Right-justify does not fix this. I tried deleting and re-entering, but nothing seems to work. The other cells below and above are fully right-justified, so one cell stands out. I've had this happen on numerous occassions and don't know how to fix it. Thanks, Mary |

Mary --
It may be that you (or someone) clicked the indent or outdent button on that cell. Have you tried copying the format from a cell above or below that doesn't show the space? Could be cell formatting. For example some cells are formatted in number
format, completely right justified and some in accounting format which leaves a space at the right for a ")" in case of negative numbers. Make sure your cell formatting is the same for all cells.
