Applying a macro to a command button, Excel 2002

I have done this in 2003. Create a command button, macro list appears (or
right click and assign macro)

In 2002 I dont see the same options. I was able to create a regular
rectangle shape and apply the macro to that. Any thoughts?
THanks!

There are two buttons that look alike.

One button is from the Forms toolbar that has the behavior you want and the
other is a commandbutton from the Control toolbox toolbar (and it works works
differently).

I bet you used the one you didn't want. Remove the commandbutton and replace it
with the button from the Forms toolbar.
