Im working on an assignment and i've been asked to explain the term " Cross
Totalling"

The first Google hit is your message. Further Google hits don't seem to
address the question. Even Excel help doesn't seem to.

Isn't a cross total a check to make sure the sum of table columns is the
same as the sum of corresponding table rows?
